Approved CPD

Continuing professional development (CPD) is how you keep up to date and develop yourself as a professional. Accountingcpd.net courses and resources can help you with that. We work with leading professional bodies and expert authors to ensure you get the right CPD content to stay up to date and enable you to embrace the future of our profession.

All accountants who are members of an IFAC registered professional body are required to do CPD, but exactly what is required of you will depend on your professional body.

Inputs based CPD

Some professional bodies will ask you to do a number of hours, units or points. If that’s your experience then accountingcpd.net courses offer, unless otherwise stated, 4 hours of CPD and you’ll get a completion certificate as evidence.

Outputs based CPD

Other professional bodies require you to assess the outputs of your CPD activities. For that you will need to ask yourself “how has this CPD activity helped me improve”, “how has it changed the way I do things” and, most importantly, “how has it helped me provide a better service to my clients or business”. Accountingcpd.net courses ask you to reflect as you work through the course, so by the end you have a clear idea of how the course has benefited you, making it easy to use for outputs based CPD.
