About the course

Accountancy can be a rewarding profession, but it also can be stressful – you’re responsible for the financial health of your organisation or your clients, and that can take its toll. Workloads often pile up and, sooner or later, we find ourselves feeling burnt out.

This course explores what stress means in a professional context and how it affects both the body and mind. You’ll reflect on how different people experience stress, and learn practical ways to reduce demands, manage your workload, and build up the personal and professional resources that help you cope. The course also looks at how to maintain long-term balance through resilience, self-care and mindset – so you’re better prepared to navigate high-pressure situations when they arise.

By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped with strategies to recognise, manage and reduce stress – helping you maintain focus, protect your wellbeing and perform at your best.
