Are inadequate writing skills and an ignorance of grammar impacting your ability to communicate as an accountant? If your writing isn’t up to scratch, you may fail to get your point across effectively or find that your ignorance of correct grammar contradicts your reputation for being careful.

This course defines the everyday building blocks of writing and explains how to order them correctly with the appropriate punctuation. Building on the basics, it covers how you select style and content to suit your readers, and choose techniques to create layouts that are easy to navigate. Finally, it reveals the best ways to edit and revise text until you have a final draft you are proud of.

You’ll gain the confidence and skills to communicate more effectively in writing. Whether you’re drafting reports, emails or client-facing documents, you’ll have the tools to write clearly, professionally and with purpose.
